Hi,the submit button is displaying “undefined send”, although in the plugin the button is correctly setup.

Is there a file I can edit to force this button label?

    thanks

What other plugins and theme do you use on the website?

    I am using POWERPRESS Theme.
    Other Plugins:
    Pagebuilder by SiteOrigin
    SiteOrigin Widget Bundle
    CF7 Smart Grid
    Database for CF7
    Phototiles grid gallery
    Header Footer Scripts

There theme has a built in Powerpress Contact Widget that uses CF7 without having CF7 plugin separately installed. I installed CF7 also because I needed more advanced forms.

Maybe it has to do with the built-in widget??

I have contacted Powerpress and they simply said that the theme works perfect with CF7.

    thanks

Try deactivating all other plugins (“all”; not only those you listed above) and switching theme to the default Twenty Seventeen.

    Thanks for the direction.
OK after deactivating and changing the theme to the default, the button label displayed correctly. i then activated the plugins within the default theme and the button was still correct.

So that must mean that there is something in the theme that affects the button label.

I then activated the Powerpress theme again and disabled the widgets in the Powerpress theme relating to a contact form. I disabled them by changing them to FALSE in the function file.

But, the button label again was UNDEFINED SEND.

    Any further ideas?

Hi again, OK I found an easier solution. I have built my page using a different theme and it all works Ok now.
Although I would like to discover why Powerpress has this issue, as I use the theme quite a lot, but will look into that at another time.
    Thanks for your help.
