Hi. All existing forms on my site have a ‘Field Type: Button’, where ‘Select button type’ is ‘button’.

With the latest CFF update, I noticed that on the front-end, an additional button ‘Submit’ is appearing on all the forms on my site, and when it is clicked on, it goes to the site’s home page. However, in the CFF Form Builder, this ‘Submit’ button is not defined/displayed.

This is what I see when I view page source. Apologies, I’m not technical, please let me know if you need more info.

    <div id="cp_subbtn_1" class="cp_subbtn" style="display:none;">Submit</div><div class="clearer"></div>

  • I have the same problem. In the settings “Display submit button?” can’t save “No”.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for using our plugin.

My apologies for the delay in responding to your question, we have checked the issue cause. We have released a plugin update (v5.2.1), just now, that should fix the issue reported.

Could you please install it and let me know if the issue persists?

    Best regards.

Problem solved after the update. For “Display submit button?” the option “No” can be saved. The button is not displayed. Thank you for the quick fix.

Hi @codepeople thanks for the quick response. I updated to Version 5.2.1 and cleared browser & server caches (if that helps). Unfortunately, the issue still persists. Please see the links for screenshots:

In this screenshot, the visual builder does not show a Submit button.

In this screenshot of the front end, a Submit button is appearing. I do not know where this Submit button is coming from.

Please select the “No” option for the “Display submit button?” attribute in the form settings.

I think I figured it out thanks to @hamil1 chiming in. Probably the previous version defaulted to ‘Display submit button?’ to ‘YES’.

LOL, I think we sent out replies at almost the same time. Thank you again @codepeople . Is ‘YES’ the default value?
