• Thank you for the plugin.

    There is an undefined variable when turning wp-debug on and adding the shortcode into a template. I added a support ticket weeks ago about this but didn’t hear anything. I don’t like using any plugins that can’t pass wp-debug.

    Notice: Undefined variable: commenttitle in /home/……./stagingserver/1/wp-content/plugins/facebook-comments-plugin/class-frontend.php on line 137

    The other major issue in this plugin is the inline link stuffing going on. I looked for a setting to turn this off but can’t find one. I have credit unchecked and see <!– Facebook Comments Plugin for WordPress: https://peadig.com/wordpress-plugins/facebook-comments/ –> in the source code.

    If these can be fixed I will consider changing my review. Thank you.

    Update:

    It has been weeks and no update. There is undefined variable errors in the shortcode. There is no response.

    I went through the code and you shouldn’t use & signs in the URL’s.

    The HTML is rather outdated. Using
    and <center> everywhere. <center> is deprecated.

    The CSS has a bunch of empty rulesets.

    `
    .pea_admin_wrap {}
    .pea_admin_top {}
    .pea_admin_main_wrap {}
    `

    Someone really needs to fork this plugin and I may even do it if this isn’t fixed and theres no where to even contribute and the author doesn’t say anything…!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello, for me, it is: Undefined variable: commenttitle in….plugins/facebook-comments-plugin/class-frontend.php on line 88

    Comments do not appear
    wp debug turned off.
    Woocommerce installed.

    This line appears in frontend, I had to switch my site to maintenance mode. I don’t want to deaktivate it, it is a great plugin.

    Thanks a lot for solution.

    Best regards. Paryzek.
