undefined variable htaccess at line 291 of core.php

    Hi, I came across this error msg and site crash after upgrading to 2.1.1. To fix I opened the referred file and placed the line $htaccess = $path . ‘/.htaccess’; above the if statement that was below it.
    I don’t know if this was the right way to solve it but the error msg disappeared since then.
    Could please check out this issue and possibly provide a patch?
