For every comment posted (by myself and others) I receive back an email from my host (Dreamhost) with the general message:

    From:Mail Delivery System
Subject: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender

This is the Postfix program at host laurel.dreamhost.com.

I’m sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be
be delivered to one or more recipients. It’s attached below.

    X-Postfix-Sender: rfc822; [email protected]

    Final-Recipient: rfc822; unknown
    Action: failed
    Status: 5.0.0
    Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; No recipients specified

–and here the message sent is pasted. it’s a comment notification from [email protected]

For the past months or so I have just been deleting and ignoring them, but with more comments being posted it’s getting really annoying. I do use Filosofo Enroll Comments plugin but don’t remember if this was happening before I installed the plugin. From the above test it sounds like WordPress is trying to send out an email to everyone that comments but doesn’t add a ‘send to’ email address. This happens with comments with email addresses attached and without. I don’t have email addresses mandatory.

So, is it something I need to change in WordPress, Dreamhost or a comflict with the comments plugin? The site in question is me-go.net

    Thanks for your help!

Okay, just to resolve this and in case anyone is having the same issue:

The reason I was getting all that returned mail is because I didn’t realize I had two identities on my blog. I have Admin, but I also have Megan, which most of the posts have been written under.

My settings were set so that the comment, updates etc. were sent from the author, not the admin. But I hadn’t set up an email address for Megan, only Admin. So, because there was no from address it was getting bounced back. It’s kind of a silly mistake, but it took me a while to put two and two together.
