Under attack but shields are holding

One of my sites has been under attack over the last several days – I was layering up security but was uncomfortable and feeling it was only a matter of time before one of the automated attacks broke through.

Some highly supported plugins were still letting in attempts at various login entries – even with recaptcha and other detection/blocks in place.

Cerber is holding up against constant php vulnerability probes, attempts to access numerous files, and warding off login attempts before submit.

I read the negative reviews and it appeared to me any criticisms of this plugin would have been easily avoided by going through the settings and reading the documentation.
