    Hello,

I wish to know how all the versions of my URL point to my main URL.

    https://thealgernon.com
    https://www.thealgernon.com
    https://thealgernon.com

    All point to:

    https://www.thealgernon.com

And this is perfectly acceptable to me.

In my wordpress back end Settings\General I have https://www.thealgernon.com set as the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL).

There are no 301 redirects in my .htaccess file. I’m not using any redirect plugins. I am using All In One SEO plugin, but I don’t recall any setting within that plugin that allows me to enter 301s.

So my question is, where are the 301 redirect settings pointing the three versions of my URL to the main version? How is this being done?

    Thanks,

    AJ

It’s all part of WordPress’s rewrite system. It automatically ensures that all variations of the URL are properly directed to the canonical version (the Site Address at Settings > General).
