Understanding color coding for items in the CodeBlock

    I pasted in some JS code into the editor and noticed that on some lines, tese little brown boxes appear at the beginning of the lines:

    What do these represent? Are these invalid characters or newlines or something?

    I was unable to reproduce it.
    Can you try the following points?

    • If you change the WordPress theme to a default theme such as Twenty Twenty Two, do you reproduce the issue?
    • If you change the theme of this plugin to another theme, do you reproduce the issue?
    • If you stop all plugins except this plugin, do you reproduce the issue?
