Understanding free license

    Everytime I install Wordfence on a new site it asks to install a license. I’m not sure of the correct workflow for this.

    Do i use the option to “Get Your Wordfence License” for every new website? Does it matter if i use the same email? What if I install the same license I got for Website A onto Website B?

    Hi @uriahs-victor, no worries, I can help with that.

    There’s no limit to how many free licenses a single email address can sign up for, but you’re required to register a fresh free license for every site you install. We exercise rate limiting by license key for things like signature/rule updates, malware scans, etc. so having the same license across multiple sites may trigger this and prevent any of them from working as intended.
