Understanding Permalink Structure.

Hi

I’ve got my WordPress account up and running on Monday, so far, so good. But I am stuck on Permalink Structure. I know in time, I will get my head round. But is it important for me, to know straight away about Permalink or shall come back to it, when I have a better understanding of WordPress.
