Unethical and dangerous

  • WP User Avatar was a simple and well-established plugin to allow users to upload their avatar.

    All of the sudden, this plugin turned into a full-blown membership plugin – something completely different to the plugin that we installed.

    That behavior is not only unethical, but quite dangerous (if I install an avatar plugin, I don’t expect it to turn into something-else plugin) and breaks all the trust that was put into this developer.
