Unexpected error in taxonomy.php
-
So about a week ago, I wake up one morning (after a possible malware attack on GoDaddy’s servers) to find my blog inaccessible (front end as well as admin). The error reads as such:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/50/4942850/html/blog/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 297So I tried re-uploading a fresh version of taxonomy.php. That caused a different error came up, pointing to /wp-includes/class-http.php, so I replaced that as well. Then my blog just showed a 404.
So my question is: is there a way to fix this. If not, is there a way to salvage my posts and theme (custom) from the existing installation and start fresh? I’m relatively new to WordPress, but are generally knowledgeable about web stuff, CMS’ and whatnot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
