Preloading “Unexpected Error” Two Clicks Doesn’t Work
-
WordPress 6.3.2
WP-Optimize 3.2.19
All Other Plugins DeactivatedObservations:
WP-Optimize has worked as expected and as advertised for me before (and in the same server environment on the same hosting account).
For some reason, WP-Optimize has started throwing this issue when starting a new Preload session.
Problem persists when all other plugins are deactivated. (I’m at a loss and require insight and advice.)
- When manually beginning a Preload I receive the Infamous (and long reported) “Unexpected Error”.
- Dismissing error results in WP-Optimize getting stuck on “Loading URLs”.
- A page refresh is required resulting in … “Loading URLs”.
- A 2nd page refresh results in a 20% chance of a False Preload Success message “Last preload completed on…” or a 80% of a working Preloading message of “Preloading page 60 of 120”.
I’ve scoured through the support forums and this is a long time, well documented issue. Is there a workable solution which generates reliable results? Thank you for your time & consideration of this issue going forward.
