Unexpected issues with accounts and payments
-
Good afternoon,
I sell restricted content, (virtual products) with which it is imperative that the person open an account to access restricted content.Problems:
PLEASE NOTICE: Prior to placing this post, I have checked with my hosting provider and the server settings are set correctly. Also, reading recomendations of previous posts in this forum? The theme I′m using i Generate Press "From Settings > General within the WP Admin,?I have tried both: allow AND disallow "Anyone to register"? and it makes no difference"I have activated anddeactivated "Direct Checkout plugin" and it makes no difference
This issue I found mainly with MERCADOPAGO WP addon-plugin for Woocommerce “Mercado Pago payments for WooCommerce”. I am not sure if PayPal (which I also offer) is reporting the same problem.
1) ISSUE IN CASE 1
When the client DOES NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT FROM THE FORM EVERYTHING WORKS fine, and they can pay. But the system behaves as for physical products. In my case you MUST open an account, otherwise you cannot enter the pages reserved for members)PROBLEMS WITH PASSWORD: Even when you create the account, you get the email with the Id and password BUT that password does not work. Even when Woocommerce creates the account, and under “Users” I can see this new user having been set up, system will not recognize this new user. He is unable to log in, And also, he is unable to recover password because the email is not being recognized by the system.2)2) ISSUE IN CASE 2
If I configure Woocommerce Accounts and Privacy, to “DO NOT allow to purchase without having an account , the user cannot complete payment process. He cannont pay. The process is somehow interrupted and he is directed to empty pages (FINISH PURCHASE – PAY FOR THE ORDER- MY CART-ACCOUNT are all empty, nothing can be seen and the person cannot pay or complete the process. The person cannot proceed to payment HOWEVER,? from my WP Dashboard I can see that he shows up as New User and I also see that he has been??automatically added as “Client” (This was done even when client did not have the chance to pay for the restricted content) This means that he becomes a Client even without having paid This “Client” receives an email of “New Account Created”- When he tries to log in he is not recognized. and he cannot request for a new password.??If you do, and if you receive a password reset email, you will still be unable to log in OR you will?login using the new password.BUT pages like?My Account,? Cart page will?still? be loading blank.? Not only that, this client will not be able to log out. He will be accessing any pages in the website? as blank pages or he?will be?redirected to installation page in case he wants to explore products or navigate the web.?CAPTURE-SCREENS:

https://recorreba.com/mi-cuenta-vacio.jpgIf I configure Woocommerce again in “Accounts and Privacy” as “Allow to open account “and THE user DOES OPEN an account: he experiences the same problem: again he is taken to the same empty pages illustrated above.
I have tried every possible pc and also from my mobile,
From PC I tried all browsers: Firefox, Edge, Chrome, in regular pages and in Anonimous/Private pages.
I tried from my pc clearing history and clearing pc cache. In doing this I could REALIZE that by clearing history cache, AND REFRESHING THE PAGE, or COPY-PASTING THE LINK IN A NEW WINDOW the system somehow “resumes” and buyer can finally pay.
Every data of the process are recovered and the person can pay BUT one cannot expect that the person be aware of releasing the history , clearing cache and make this strange movements in the middle of a payment process.?On occasions, I found out that the checkout link shows up in the navigation bar of?the blank page “Finalizar Compra” Eg:?https://recorreba.com/finalizar-comprar/order-pay/7234/?key=wc_order_yPD6KFFitFrI5?When this happens, copy-pasting this link? in a new window (especially private or in a different brwoser) makes that blank page reveal itself completely. The checkout process resumes and allows the person to make the payment. But again this “copy-pasting”? is too farfetched.?
I am combining Woocommerce with AutomatorWP to work AFTER purchase has been completed. What I see in Automator Log REgistry is that Automator could no perform any action BECAUSE payments could not be completed.
Please, I will be grateful if you help me fix this error.Thank you and regards
Liliana
