• Hello,

Today, I suddenly received notifications that several orders had just been submitted simultaneously, and when I checked they were all subscription renewals being processed at the same time. I am surprised by this, as almost all the current subscribers initially started their 12 month subscriptions in different months, so should be processed at different points in time. This is especially concerning for the customers who started their subscription in May, as it’s only been half a year.

Please help, I’ve double-checked all the settings I know of and none of them appear to reference this type of thing. I can share system settings if needed. I did update a couple plugins today including this one.

    Thank you

  • Same exact issue here. I have yith subscriptions and it mass renewed (2 accounts) at a single time (3am) and date even though there are no settings and no logic as to why this would happen. Thanks

Same here. It appears to have happened when the software updated from 3.9 to 4.0. If so, that was a serious oversight that caused a major unexpected headache today!

Same here, all subscriptions have been automatically renewed and orders have been created for them…

It’s good to know my client isn’t the only one affected. We’re telling the subscribers to disregard any renewal invoices for now. I’m just glad we didn’t have the system set up to take the payment automatically, just invoice them.

    Hello @annieici, @anchoredweb, @lauraspeece and @ngoels.

the plugin, with version 4.0, creates renewal orders using WordPress cron: this is to be compatible with WooCommerce PayPal Payments.
This however should create (and not process) renewals for subscriptions that are close to renewal.

Could you, please, tell me if the orders have only been created or if they have also been paid?

    Hello?@annieici,?@anchoredweb,?@lauraspeece?and?@ngoels.

Our developers found the issue that created these renewals and send a plugin update (version 4.0.1)

    Hello Alberto,

It appears that the orders have been created but not paid for me. I am using Authorize.net for my client, so there is no auto-pay at the moment. The orders are all listed On-Hold.

And thank you for the quick plugin update! I’m assuming it’s safe to update?

    Thank you

A follow-up question: Will this interfere with the actual renewal when it’s time for them to renew? For example, in a couple months will the system think it already renewed the subscriber and so will not submit the renewal?

Follow up again: I believe this plugin may be interfering with the Authorize.net payment setup. I was notified that it was not working and looked into it, and when testing on a test domain, removing this plugin allowed the Authorize payment info to appear in checkout.

    Thank you so much.

Hi @witcher83 is it safe to delete those additionally created orders? all of these automatically created ones have the following note-log:

Payment failed. No payment tokens found for customer XXXX. Status der Bestellung von In Wartestellung auf Fehlgeschlagen ge?ndert.

This order has been created to renew subscription #XXXXX

    Hello @ngoels

i think it’s better to open a separate topic because the issue you are reporting now is quite different than the initial one. On the new topic please provide more info as possible like: plugins used and the versions, payment gateway used and (in case you are using WooCommerce PayPal Payments) if the vaulting is enabled

    Hello @witcher83

On Friday I updated the plugin to the latest version because the automatic payment renewal with Paypal wasn’t working and then it started working but incorrectly.

I have a subscription product set to pay 1€ per day and it was doing the payment every hour. So the client payed 1€ per hour instead 1€ per day.
