Unexpected Paragraph Tags Showing Before & After Video

As mentioned in this thread, I noticed that some unexpected and non-existent (at least in the WP Editor) empty paragraph tags are showing up on the front-end.
Maybe this code will help solve the unexpected empty
<p>tags from showing up before and after the video? I used this code (link below) with a custom shortcode of my own, and it worked for removing the empty<p>tags.
