    We use the woocommerce-quotation plugin (https://woocommercequoteplugin.com/requestforquote/woocommerce-quotation-plugin/) and have done for many years. When a user submits a quote, they always go into the “request” state, never anything else as we don’t accept payment on the site.

    This morning we received a “New order” email and the quote is in the “processing” state as if it has been paid for. I cannot replicate this having tried different browsers and devices.

    In case it is relevant we upgraded to 8.3.1 yesterday from 8.2.2. We have had quotes from other users since and they end up in the “request” state as normal.

    What could cause an order to go into the “processing” state if we don’t have any way of placing an order on the site? Can we do anything to catch this and prevent it in future?
