    Hello community,

I’m facing an issue on my WordPress site where every page and post displays the text “related images:” in the content area.

I deactivated my plug-ins individually and it the problem disappears when I deactivate the NextGEN plug-in. Therefore, I can conclude that I found the source.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem before? What can I do, or do I have to wait for an update of the plug-in?

Any help or guidance you can provide would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

  • I’m going to track this thread because I have the same issue. My site is brucecutler.org. Only pages have this entry, not posts.

I would like to add that even posts and pages without an image or gallery block from the NextGen plugin display the entry ‘related images.

I contacted NextGen, and they acknowledged an issue with the current version. They advised me to roll back from 3.54 to 3.41, and that solved the problem. For the time being I will not update the plugin.

Thanks. I also downgraded and yes, the problem entry has gone away. Thanks for your help.

    Hi @willem67,

Please go to?NextGEN Gallery > Other options > Image options > Show related images on Posts >?Select?“NO”

Thank you for your reply. This is the best solution. It works.

Thanks William but I can’t seem to get it to stick. When I go back to that setting it’s changed back to ‘Yes’ showing the related image heading down the bottom of each page. How do I roll back? My site is handcraftedtimber.com

I suggest to contact the support desk of NextGen / Imagely and inform them that the following link is not valid anymore:
    https://www.imagely.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/

I received from support a link with the correct earlier version.

    This does work:

Please go to?NextGEN Gallery > Other options > Image options > Show related images on Posts >?Select?“NO”

However, the Watermark settings are set to use an image by default possibly and if there is no URL for that image, it will not save settings. So set Watermark to text and NO, and then you can save the settings and this will stop the Related Images from showing on every page.

Since NextGEN Gallery/Imagely was sold, it seems the support is not what it used to be.
