I have been using UDP for a few sites with great success I just changed hosts and now one of my UDP backups are failing with a pop up error that says Unexpected Response….

I can’t copy and paste the text so I took screeshots.

I downloaded the log files and the errors that show up are basically referring to the location of my old hosting uploads media files.

ERROR: Could not read the directory: /home/MYOLDHOSTINGPATH/wp-content/uploads
    0019.697

I deleted the Updraft plugin and then reinstalled it but that old path is still stuck. not sure how to refresh it to the correct path.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Please can you update to 1.12.37 and try again? The ‘unexpected response’ should be gone now.

Thank you for your response. Updating the plugin did stop the unexpected response error however I am still getting an error in the overall backup because it is looking at the old path in my old hosting for the uploads directory.

ERROR: Could not read the directory: /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/uploads
0010.371 (0) An error condition has occurred for the first time during this job

How can I change that so that it points the new correct path for my current hosting? As I said I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it but it seems to have kept all of the old settings.

    Hi,

UpdraftPlus doesn’t store that setting itself – it asks WordPress core for where your uploads folder is, so, apparently that’s what WP is thinking. Check in Settings -> Media to see if you have a setting showing there.
