unexpected T_STRING line 486

    During a deployment of a duplicator package to a live site, I keep getting the following errors:

    Warning: Unexpected character in input: '' (ASCII=25) state=0 in /public_html/installer.php on line 486
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /public_html/installer.php on line 486

    When I go to open the installer.php file created, it is unreadable non-text code. Not sure if it helps, but I’m trying to install it to an add on domain and not the root directory. Any thoughts on what could be creating the problem?

    I ended up doing a manual installation to my live server.
