Unfinished Installation in step 2

  • Hi all

    I’ve trying to install wordpress in my local computer (Win-XP). I’ve used WAMP Server here. I’ve followed the Installing WordPress guide (including editing config.php), but when I run the installer it stops in step 2 (assuming from url /wp-admin/install.php?step=2).

    It shows only the WordPress Logo, the successfull installation message was not appeared.

    Next, I’ve checked the database and all the tables were empty except wp__options table.

    Any suggestion?

    Are you able to access https://localhost/wp-admin or https://localhost? What does it show when you try?

    That only means that it is not successfully installed the wordpress in localhost here are the steps to install wordpress.

    1. Create database and users
    2. Run installation and use the information you’ve created in step 1.
    3. Create configuration file(wp-config.php) actually it’s automatically created on installation.
