great plugin with great support

  • EDIT: quick response from author notes this is not intentional. was able to permanently dismiss by clearing my host Siteground’s cache (from SG Supercacher).

    Solid plugin that was ruined by notifications for donations that will reappear every time the admin dashboard loads. No matter how many times you click X to close it. Unfortunate way to ruin a very good plugin.

    @kendalm The issue itself appears to be due to heavy caching that is preventing the notification from properly dismissing. I’ve have a few reports of it here and there, but unfortunately nobody has been able to provide me with an environment to test against and find why the issue is occurring.

    If you could provide me with a development environment to test against, I’d greatly appreciate it. It’s not intended to occur (and code-wise should disappear and stay gone), but without being able to replicate the issue, there’s not much I can do.

    thanks for the prompt reply! with your feedback on the root cause from caching issue I immediately cleared my sites cache, which is stored with our host Siteground’s SG Supercacher tool. It immediately solved the problem. Sorry I don’t have a current dev env for you to take a look, but thanks for the resolution! Updating the rating now.
