Unfortunately not really free map service

  • The theme uses mapbox which, although based on the collaborative openstreetmap, sells 4$ each 1000 map loads after initial free tier. So, this is no real free use.

  • Yes. Maybe check the Hivepress directory plugin. The developer is very responsive and they are talking about trying to integrate LeafletJS with Openstreemap as a much cheaper alternative. Let me know if you find any other good solutions.
