Unfortunately Requires Add-on

Although I only give this free version 2 stars because of limited functionality, I give it in combination with the $13 add on 5 stars.

Earlier versions of this WooCommerce Simply Order Export plugin worked great (prior to about 2.0) for adding custom fields to the .csv file. More recent versions have transferred the functionality of being able to add custom fields to the WooCommerce Simply Order Export Add-on, making this free version, much less useful… Thus it now only gets 2 stars.

I think this was a smart move on the part of Ankit (the developer), because this free version does in fact give the opportunity for users to run a limited test on this program to provide an initial indication of whether it might work as expected or not, but really, in order to get any real functionality from this plugin, it requires the add-on, which you now have to pay for.

Overall I think it’s worth the $13 for the Add-on, but by itself, this plugin is almost worthless except as a brief demonstration of how the add on might work. Too bad there wasn’t a way to prove adding custom fields in the free version though… Perhaps a limit of one extra custom field would be a nice feature in this free version.
