Unfortunately, the plugin is becoming entirely paid.

I work at a Federal Public University, and we chose WordPress 15 years ago as a tool for managing our institution’s websites. We have an average of 20 million annual visits to our portals. Early on, we selected a few plugins that we considered excellent for managing our multisite servers.

Among these plugins, we chose Jetpack, which met most of our demands. However, over time, we have seen the plugin become slower, require more machine resources, and charge for several features that were previously included in the package.

I understand the need to charge for the use of the plugin; it is a high-quality plugin. However, for nonprofit or public educational institutions, such as the university where I work, we don’t have the flexibility to pay for a plugin. It’s not possible to open a public tender or pay for it as an operational cost, making the use of the plugin unfeasible at this time.

I would very much like you to have a plan for Brazilian public universities so that we could have access to resources like detailed statistics, for example, which have now become paid features.
