    Hi,

    After upgrading the Google Analytics plugin from Version 20190220 to version 20190501, the code is visible to the user. How can it be hidden from user?

    See screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/4Yzz3DC

    It’s a very good plugin but I’m dissapointed that with the latest versions it shows this code at the top of the page to the visitor.

    Regards,

    Yunis

    That happens when you try adding <script> tags to either of the following settings:

    – Custom Tracker Objects
    – Custom GA Code

    So double-check those settings to make sure there are no script tags and problem solved.

    I have the same issue, this is what shows at the top of the site:

    ); ga(‘set’, ‘forceSSL’, true); ga(‘send’, ‘pageview’);

    I did not add any additional <script> tags as indicated, only the Tracking ID and Google Site Tag.

    I deactivated the plugin until there is a resolution.
