so i bought recently uni cpo with its addon “custom url” for this addon isnt any documentation available and even the support couldnt help me out

What support explained to me and i already understoof
you can select options from your customizable product and then save these as endpoints, after that you will get a link output.

But now my problem starts:
if i try to visit this link that uni cpo gave me, i get an erro 404 page not found message from my server.SOmehow the generated links arent valid. The support told me something about change settings in permalinks tab but i dont have a clue what they are talking about.
After asking again i got this message:
“Try to resave permalinks https://prnt.sc/u5njhx”

i got no clue how to fix this plugin please help

Hi,

When you visit admin page General settings -> Permalinks WordPress updates .htaccess file on your hosting, so your custom urls should work after that. So, it should be enough to simply visit that page and that’s it.

Sometimes it is not enough though. Did you try already? Did it work? What url exactly do you have and it doesn’t work?

Hi,
i saved the Settings on my Permalink site and restartet the apache server after that, and it still doesnt work. I have many products where this options is needed but this should be my most important product for using this feature

It does not look like a permalink at all. Please, enable permalinks first.

Ich will backup the website, make the user data inaccessible to you and then i will mail you access data to an admin account, keep in mind that this is a very unsave situation 4 me so if you do anything i dont want you to do,I have some logs…

Aha, it works only for standard product permalinks setting, which is like ‘…/produkt/streaming-pc-workstation/promo/ultra/’. Set your site domain and you will see.

We will fix it for another types of permalinks soon. Not sure when exactly though.

yeah that did it. i will also remoove your accound data now. thanks for helping. i think i will create a detailed documentation for people wo are also trying to use your plugin and send it to you for you documentation. you will be free to use it
