UNINSTALL???

I’ve tried everything to uproot this plugin from my FOUR websites, yet it continues to run in the background and retain the Limit Login Attempts page in the Dashboard. Cannot find any remaining files in the wp-plugins folder, and no trace of tables in the database. I’d gladly pay something to someone to get rid of what seems to be a crude type of RANSOMWARE!
