Hey @jsrit, sounds like something went weird! I’ll try my best to figure it out.
Uninstalling YARPP should be the same as any other plugin, although there is a deactivation survey (which you can skip). Here’s how a video showing me uninstalling it.
So here’s a few questions that will help diagnose the issue:
* On the WordPress dashboard plugins page, is YARPP still listed as active?
* If it’s not active, maybe you’re using a caching plugin that is still showing the old content.
* If it is still active, then you may not have skipped the deactivation survey, or there was an error when you did. If that’s the case, what do you see happen when you click to deactivate YARPP? Do you see the pop-up window at all?
If you just want a quick way out, using FTP (eg from cPanel) to delete the folder ‘yet-another-related-posts-plugin’ from your website’s wp-content/plugins folder is the quickest way to totally remove it. (Although it would be helpful to figure out what went wrong in order to prevent this in the future.)
