Uninstall iwp

  • I improperly shut down iwp and cannot open my dashboard – I believe its link got corrupted.

    So I could re-install iwp. Should I just reinstall in same location? Or if I install in another location, how do I uninstall it?

    It is located in \users\RAMLLC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office\Recent\KQRK27CX.

    When I open KQRK27CX, I get InstantWP_4.5. When I open that I get, three folders: iwpserver, loader, system.

    – iwpserver folder has a file iwpserver (application)and if I double click I get the dashboard icon at the bottom of the screen but cannot open it.
    – The loader has nothing in it, and
    – the system InstantWP_GUI. When I double click on it, I get HTTP 403 Forbidden (I assume that means I need to log in to see dashboard but cannot GUI to log in as the WordPress Admin. Any help on next step is appreciated.

    Please try reinstalling it. In Most of the cases reinstalling fixes the problem.

    Thanks Clarion Technologies.

    That is what I did, however you had better backup you data regularly which is still not clear which files on your PC you can backup. So I’ve copied all files to external hard drive and also downloaded WP Plugin just in case it happens again.
