I have tried wp hide my login but it seems to upset my permissions system (Members plugin).

I have deactivated the plugin and returned .htaccess to it’s default setting but it hasn’t cleared the problem.

What else do I need to do?

    all the best

I have purged the Varnish Cache and restarted Apache but things are no better. Specifically, my users with a particular members role cannot see adverts in the WP Adverts plugin. They could before I installed Hide my WP….

I’ve also logged in with chrome in incognito mode so it doesn’t pick up any local cached files. No change….

I have also tried deactivating/Reactivating WP Adverts

    Hi,

Hide My WP Ghost is adding the rules in .htaccess.
(which are normally removed on plugin deactivation if the .htaccess is writable)
This should be all you need to do.

To set the .htaccess rules to default, you can also update the settings in Settings > Permalinks page.

I checked your website and it works well. Can you tell me if you managed to find the issue?

    Best, John
