uninstall plugin

I installed this plugin earlier to try but it’s not what im looking for. The plugin can be seen in the left-hand menu options to create a profile etc, but it doesn’t actually display at all in the main plugins page so there’s no way I can safely remove it without leaving some core files in my database. How do I otherwise remove the plugin please? I’m using the latest version of wordpress.
