• I’m wondering whether there was or would be a plugin that could identify tables/files created/used by any plugin and delete them, making for an easy uninstall since this option doesn’t seem to be built-in in many plugins.

A search on “uninstall” in wp-plugins.net didn’t return anythig relevant.

  • have you checked to see if disabling a plugin does this? if not, then you’re probably out of luck, though I don’t see what’s so important about clearing the tables…

Thanks for your input. I don’t think that deactivating a plugin will erase its tables (e.g., many authors do mention that it actually doesn’t).

Some plugin authors provide with an uninstall link in their options but not all.

Well, it may not be that important but why would I want to keep unused tables clogging my install?
