Uninstalled, yet homepage still served hyper-cached

  • I tested Hyper Cache then uninstalled to test another plugin (1. I cleared cached, then disabled, then uninstalled plugin, also deleted the “cache” folder)
    yet requests for the Homepage are still getting Hyper-Cached files (seen in source code), although W3 Total Cache is now active.

    What do I need to do to get rid of this problem?

    With a delay of many hours the hyper cached homepage was cleared.

    For some reason, although I cleared my cache several times, used browsers that had no cache of the website etc, the Hyper Cached homepage took several hours after uninstalling the plugin to be served as non-cached.

    Went back to Hyper Cache, however, after testing all three major caching plugins…HP gives the best loading times for both cached and non-cached pages.
