Uninstalling leaves capabilities

    There are tons of plugins in the WP repository that can help you out. I’m not exactly sure which one can remove capabilities, but I imagine one (if not multiple) do.

    right, but you *should* fix this so that they are remover, at least with a uninstall button in the interface

    We used to have a cleanup plugin, to remove some of the data left behind. But as Hunter said sometimes it’s better to use a third party plugin specific for this kind of tasks.
