When I inspect the site in MS Edge, it tells me that the ID value must be unique. As your plugin, cleverly, allows for reusable templates and duplication, this is what MS Edge is picking up. When those elements are copied or re-used, they retain the same ID as the original. Is it possible, in html, to change the GSPB ID number to prevent these accessibility issues?

No, copying or duplication of blocks changes ID. Here is video

Thanks. OK that’s clear. If we are re-using the html from a block, is it possibly to manually vary the ID number? We copied html from a block into a widget…. it works great but the browser doesn’t like the fact it’s using the same ID.

Duplicate block in editor, then take code of block. To be true, you should use reusable template and it’s shortcode for this purpose instead direct html

I wish I could… The problem is I have to use classic widgets because of Gutenberg… and therefore unable to place shortcode in those widgets.

You can use shortcodes in widgets, there is Custom HTML widget and Text widget, they should support shortcodes
