What is failing for you?
Can you post a copy of your plugin settings.

I will add a minimum value for the random unique ID in next version
as a numeric value after the random word.

Prefix defined as #year# will use the last two digits of current year as prefix.

Have you activated the “Unique Membership ID” plugin without errors?

I have uploaded a new version of the plugin with prefix year and minimum random number.

Yes, the details show but the ?{usermeta:um_unique_account_id} doesnt show in the email. or admin dashboard @missveronicatv

I have uploaded a new version which reloads the user cache.

New users do not get user IDs or its not on their dashboard per this guide https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1683-how-to-generate-a-unique-account-id but old members still have their IDs on the dashboard. In the email to, new users IDs are not reflecting @missveronicatv

1. How is the plugin settings at UM Settings -> Appearance -> Registration Form?

2. Can you look at the database usermeta table with phpMyAdmin
if the meta_key um_unique_membership_id has got a value for the user.

You are using the meta_key um_unique_account_id
anything for this meta_key in the usermeta table

No, I don’t have um_unique_account_id as a meta_key in the table. The new users do not have the um_unique_account_id but the older users have the um_unique_account_id meta_key @missveronicatv

I found this plugin https://github.com/MissVeronica/um-unique-user-account-id having the same thing but different codes….this uses the unique-account-id or? Can you check this out….I was using this plugin previously before the membership one @missveronicatv

I have updated the “Unique Membership ID” plugin now and my tests works OK.

The basic differences between these plugins are either “User Roles” or “Registration Forms” and a merge of the two plugins should be the best solution and a selection of which one to use.
