If you want to remove all traces of our plugins, you’ll need to do the following:

Please search the database for entries containing wpseo and manually remove the data.
Remove the two tables created for the Text Link Counter feature. They are the {WordPress_table_prefix}yoast_seo_links table and the {WordPress_table_prefix}yoast_seo_meta table.

We also have more information on uninstalling the plugin here: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-uninstall-my-plugin/#database

Yes, there are options and meta data that you’ll need to find manually. You can look for anything that includes yoast.

thanks for the info. But, how can I do it?

Yoast SEO does not have a ‘remove all data’ option. This means if you need to remove the data, you must manually edit your database.

If you are familiar with editing a database, you’ll use mysql queries to find and remove tables and entries that contain wpseo or yoast.

If you are not familiar with editing a database, please reach out to someone you trust that is familiar with the process. Some web hosts provide tools or help with database management.

For the health and safety of your site, we recommend creating regular backups of your site and database. This is especially important before editing the database directly. Learn more about the benefits of regular backups.

don′t you know the query related to delete those wpseo or yoast entries?

    Hi @colomet,

We’re not able to give you queries that will work for your specific setup, but you can find more details here: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-uninstall-my-plugin/#database.

    Hope this helps!
