    Hi

I am trying to set up unit pricing measure on my feed. We sell tiles singley but I want to display the m2 on the feed also to aid comparison with the competition.

I have added two custom fields: “unit_pricing_measure” which is mapped to an attribute that displays the m2 per tile and “unit_pricing_base_measure” which is mapped to an attribute that just displays “1 sqm”. However no m2 price is coming through on the feed?

The main price field is set to “Price” with a GBP prefix.

Am I doing this correctly? Can you help?

    Many thanks
    Nathan

  • Hi Nathan,

Thanks for reaching out to us. When you will follow the steps as laid out in this blog post you will do things right, see: https://adtribes.io/how-to-add-the-unit_pricing_measure-and-unit_pricing_base_measure-to-your-google-shopping-feed/

Bear in mind that the price you put in the g:price field is the price for the product and the unit pricing measure is for that specific product. Google will than automatically do the recalculation of what that means for the price in m2 based on what unit value you put in the base measure field.

Thanks but your website does not work. None of your links do. Says there isn’t a secure connection and the connection resets.

    Hi,

We just had a look and for us our website works fine. Are you sure there is nothing wrong with your internet connection?

    Hi

Thanks for coming back to me, its probably your location and my anti-virus. Anyway, is the option for unit pricing only available in your elite tier or is it possible to add it manually using the custom field?

    Thanks
    Nathan

    Hi Nathan,

You should also be able to use custom fields or your own created WooCommerce attributes for it. Bear in mind though that when the unit_pricing_measure and unit_pricing_base_measure are different for each of your product variations than it will not work. When you are just using simple products or the units are the same for your product variations then you should be just fine.

Let us know if you run into issues setting it up, we’d be more than happy to help you with it.

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and/or our assistance is no longer required I will close this topic for now for housekeeping reasons.
