don’t care why the last post was closed by the pedantic moderator as this is obviously a very hot topic and it was never addressed other than to say its not currently supported.

So maybe I’ll rephrase slightly and ask ‘When will the plugin support Google’s migration to Universal Analytics?’

Please do not close this topic until the question has been answered either here or on the Yoast site as I believe anyone using or considering this plugin deserves a roadmap.

    Cheers.

I just got the nudge from G and started investigating the ramifications of making the change from classic to universal analytics and Yoast’s plugins were at the top of the list.

There’s no info to be found so hopefully someone monitoring this (Joost or someone from the Yoast team?) may provide info that we can use to make good decisions.

I also found it bewildering that esmi closed what was a timely and unresolved topic. Thanks for reposting here, kylerollins.

me too, please… have 60+ sites that are waiting to switch to universal, and i’d rather not a) screw them all up, and b) have to do things twice.

I agree. Super lame that the last post was closed since when I Googled the topic, that was the page that was ranked #1. Who cares what version of WP one is using. We want to know if it’s okay to go with Universal Analytics or not. Simple. Look forward to the resolution.
