You need to contact your hosting provider to renew the SSL certificate.

I’m curious, do you think there would be any issues if I were to change providers to this free SSL plugin? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/auto-install-free-ssl/

I am new to wordpress and new to the admin of the website, and I do not have contact with the person who set up our SSL provider (who is SECTIGO).

I would prefer to use the free SSL provider shared above, but my concern is that if I change I may lose some functionality or features of our website.

Are you able to make a judgement with that information?

The plugin you’ve mentioned looks promising to me. If it works with your server then I don’t see any issue. ??

Free SSL certificate will not cause any issue with your site’s functionality.

I will recommend contacting with hosting provider, they should be able to change it for you. I mean changing from a paid SSL certificate to a free one.
