    Hi,

we’ve been experiencing problems since the last Yoast update. It slowed down the entire front-end site and admin as it was spamming our log files constantly with errors.

The main error we get is that the column target_indexable_id cannot be found in the table wp_yoast_seo_links.

I have tried removing Yoast completely, including the tables in the database and setting the yoast_migrations_free option to empty and then reinstalling, but the same issue occurs.

    PHP Version 7.2.33
    Wordpress version 5.5.1
    Fresh Yoast install, latest version

    What else can you recommend?

    Thank you in advance,
    Andy

Fixed the issue by changing the rights of the database user. Had no drop, alter and index rights, causing it not to update the table to the new configuration.

@andyverdoodt We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. To resolve this issue, can you please try the following?:

      1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
      2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
      3. Hit the “Reset Indexables & Migrations” button
      4. Under SEO → Tool, click the “Click here to speed up your site now” button.

Thanks for this – solved the same issue I had (although in my case I suspect it was maybe more to do with updating to 14.n from 11.8 .. don’t judge me, it was a website I inherited!!)

At any rate I was able to install the helper, reset the indexables and see that the table columns were all present and correct (on a staging site before replicating to the production site)

Hi @devnihil is it possible to fix this issue without installed new plugin ?
