I’ve installed the Site Kit by Google plugin on numerous WordPress sites with absolutely no problem but my free samples website is crying about it like a toddler! When I install the Site Kit by Google plugin and attempt to perform the setup, the result is:

Unknown Error (code: invalid 'client_id' or 'client_secret')

I can’t seem to fix this even when I run the setup again.

    Hope there’s a fix,
    Jason

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for reaching out, and sharing details of what you’re encountering and the troubleshooting you performed.

When encountering this error tried the “Redo the plugin set up” option? If you’ve already done so on this site, with the same error encountered, can you please perform a plugin reset and check once more?(Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit)? A plugin reset can remove all invalid credentials, with the error you’re encountering likely due to an invalid access token, as per?this guide on the plugin website.

Let me know how you get on after resetting, or ask if you have any questions. Note that by resetting, you will need to connect all previously connected modules once more. Other administrators if any, will also have to set up the plugin once more.
