unknown error occurred processing request

    Our lightbox signup form is suddenly giving ‘Unknown error occurred processing your request. Please try again later.” when poeple try to sign up.
    I’ve followed the steps outlined in other posts about clicking the edit button beside the list, and adding fields but it’s not working. The form had been working for the past year but now will not accept any signups. Can you please assist? It’s quite urgent.

    Hi mikenovacane,

    The error shows “Your merge fields were invalid.”
    Please delete your fields and add them again in the edit forms section.

    Hey guys, Still having issues with this error. I deleted the fields and re added them and still got the error. Then just for a test I removed all the fields except the email, yet the lightbox pop up was still showing all the fields despite the backend settings only having the email field there.
    Any ideas?
