• Hey guys, I just heard from my hosting provider and they said my site is overloading their server RAM almost immediately after startup. They don’t know which plugin it is, and I have tried everything I know how to do. I am one version behind on WordPress and my theme because I don’t have time to run the manual updates. My hunch is that the overload is due to a plugin, but those are all up to date. I do have a lot of plugins though.

    1. AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget
    2. Akismet
    3. All Around Slider
    4. All In One SEO Pack
    5. Audio player
    6. Author Archive Short Code
    7. Bookshelf Slider
    8. Cimy Swift SMTP
    9. Constant Contact API
    10. Constant Contact API: Form Designer (Alpha)
    11. Contact Form 7
    12. Contact Form 7 Newsletter
    13. Fancier Author Box
    14. Jetpack by WordPress.com
    15. flickrRSS
    16. Google XML Sitemaps
    17. Hybrid Connect
    18. InfiniteWP – Client
    19. nrelate Related Content
    20. Padlet Shortcode
    21. Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin
    22. Really Simple Twitter Feed Widget
    23. Revolution Slider
    24. U-Design Shortcode Insert Button
    25. Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget
    26. W3 Total Cache
    27. WordPress Image Mapper
    28. WP-PageNavi
    29. WP User Avatar
    30. WP125

Any and all feedback is welcome. Thanks!

Update: I ran the update manually for the WP install, so I’m now on 3.8.1. According to my Chrome RAM readout I’m still using >60MB which seems really high.

That is a lot of plugins. You may want to checkout

    Plugin Profiler

That can sometimes help you find the conflict.

I just blogged about this here:
    WordPress Speed Tips

If P3 Profiler does not help, you can try the divide and conquer approach or NewRelic. Newrelic is great but requires some server-side work.
