Unknown SSL protocol error in connection: my new SSL? WordFence 6.2.7 update?

  • Two new things have happened recently. I installed an SSL certificate on my site last week. And WordFence had an update today. So I’m not sure why I’m getting the following error when I perform a manual scan, or what to do about it:

    Scan terminated with error: There was an error connecting to the the Wordfence scanning servers: cURL error 35: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to noc1.wordfence.com:443
