Unknown username or email adress

  • Hello,

    I decided to move my blog from Squarespace to WordPress.
    So I transferred the domain name, hosted my website somewhere else and yesterday I installed wordpress/created a wordpress account. I installed a theme, some pluggins, the whole shabang. I also requested to have my administration email address on my site changed.

    Anyway today I try to log in to my admin account to keep working on my site and it tells me ‘Unknown username. Check again or try your email address.’, so I try to log in with my email address and I also get an error message.
    I have no idea what’s happening or why it’s happening and I’m really scared I won’t be able to log in to my account anymore. Especially when I just paid for a theme and plugins and such x).
    I have no idea what to try next. I tried to log in about 20 times in a row, making sure I properly wrote my username or email address.

    Sorry for any grammatical mistakes, I’m French and definitely not tech-savy.
