Please don’t spam the dashboard with unlabeled warnings. We shouldn’t have to google the error message to find out where the spam comes from.

    Hi @a4jpcom,

Would it be possible to provide the specifics as to which ‘unlabeled warning’ this would concern exactly?

Based on the currently provided information, it is rather challenging for us to determine which warning this concerns exactly.

You can always open a Support Thread on the Really Simple SSL Support Forums if you need help with the plugin, as we would be more than happy to help you resolve any issues with the plugin.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Dear Jarno,

    Thank you for the reply.

Please check your code and the support area I already wrote there. Your app just says something like warning… one of your plugins needs an update as there is a problem and it didn’t say Really Simple SSL anywhere. I had to google the message to find out which app the message was coming from but I’m lucky someone had already disabled all their plugins to find out the message was coming from your plugin. Please don’t spam the dashboard with unlabeled messages. It forces us to deactivate all our plugins to find out which app is causing problems.

    Hi @a4jpcom,

Going by your latest post, I am assuming that this concerns the notification about a vulnerability being detected in a component on your site.

If you want to disable the site-wide notifications about vulnerable components that were detected on your site, you can of course do that; under Vulnerabilities -> Configuration -> Site-wide, admin notification, by setting this option to “None”.

    Kind regards, Jarno

My point is different. You are posting messages on our dashboards and not saying which plugin they are coming from. This is terrible. It’s nice they can be turned off but how do we even know we can turn them off if you hide the source of the messages? Your message doesn’t even go away after the reported plugin has been updated either.

    Hi @a4jpcom,

Thank you for your feedback, we will consider updating the notice to better reflect where it originates from exactly.

    Kind regards, Jarno
