• Hi,

I’ve installed and activated the plugin and configured the settings. Despite everything being set correctly, I coulnd’t get it to automatically show below the post content. I ended up adding it manually using your PHP function in my child theme and this now shows the LIKE button however, I cannot get the UNLIKE button to show.

Is there anything I need to do to show the unlike button next to the like button?
What are the conditions for the unlike button to show?

Thanks for any help in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @voltronik
It looks like you’ve solved this problem now. However, the unlike button only works when you have chosen one of the IP or username logging methods. (In wp ulike settings)

    Hi @alimir,
Ah, I can’t do that as that would violate the GDPR which comes into affect in two days.
Is there no way to enable this without logging any data about the user?

    Hi @voltronik
I’ll prepare an update in this week which user IP’s will be anonymise. But this will end up with a series of problems and issues related to the statistics page. So I have to spend more on this…
Also, it might be better to use the GDPR standard format on your website in the first place. Like the following links:

    Hi @alimir,
    Thanks for your reply.

I already have a policy for GDPR compliancy implemented on my website.
Can you confirm what you mean by ‘GDPR standard format’ and how it permits user IP addresses to be stored without them opting in to providing this data?
