    The page above is just an example of one of the many pages I need help with, but I’ll explain the issue. ??

    I went through all of the bad links and used the unlink button to get rid of broken hyperlinks specifically within my own site.

    However, when I go to check on any of them, they’re all still there and linking to the broken page.

    The example above was this page:

    https://www.chasingfoxes.com/7-good-money-secrets-from-the-great-depression/

    The page itself is fine, but it’s still linking to my article titled “7 Quotes That’ll Inspire You to Get Out of Debt”

    It says it’s gone, but it’s not.

    Could someone help me with this?

    I hope you are doing well today.

    I visited your page and that URL is broken “7 Quotes That’ll Inspire You to Get Out of Debt” points to 404 page. Such a page does not exist on your site /debt-quotes/. That is why BLC reports this URL as broken.

    Hey Kris, thanks for getting back to me. The problem is that I’m not concerned with it being reported as broken. My problem is with it not unlinking when I use the “unlink” button on your tool.

    This would mean I would have to go through every article where a broken link is reported, and do it manually by myself.

    I checked your site and the data we have and from what I see that URL is marked as Unlinked in our system. Also, The link will be removed from the list during the next scan if it’s been fixed in all instances.

    Having this now, can you clear your site cache, any server-side cache, and object cache? It is possible that we see a cached version of that page.

    Forgive me to jumping on to the thread, but I am having the same sort of issues. Tool finds broken links, which is good, but when I “unlink” despite indicating it was successful, no changes are actually made. Is there a log for this anywhere that could help diagnose?
